Parenting and Extracurricular Activities

My boys are still young and I'm already dreading the time when they begin extracurricular activities. I've heard the horror stories from my friends with older children of running one to one place only to jump in the car and drive the other to the other side of town and back again for pickup. I feel busy and overwhelmed now. How will I ever keep up with three busy schedules when one is sometimes too much? Yikes.

I did a little research and here are some advice from the experts:

I have the same fears! My kids are 4, 2, and 2 months and I am petrified of what will happen when they are in school and have activities outside of what I schedule. ARGHH...what do people do? We think we will have to get a nanny or something to help do transportation to/from after school activities...

I don't know what I'll do. With 1 boy and 1 girl the activites are sure to vary, and I'm already running around on the weekends! Currently my son, (age 3), takes 1 music class a week. His sister (age 1) will start a music class in 3 months at the same place. It's already hectic, and thankfully nothing overlaps......yet.
