Easy Snack Ideas for a Terrible Grocery Shopper!

These are great ideas for the kind of food and snacks to have around for some friends coming to visit for the weekend.

Snacks

Cheeseball/crackers

Fruit trayVeggie tray (premade of course to be easier on you)

Antipasto(cheese/meat/olives/roasted peppers)

Nuts

chips and salsa

cheeses and crackers. Oh, and WINE!

artichoke dip

lunch meat and bread and cheese around for lunch

some hamburger and spaghetti sauce and noodles for a quick "hot" meal

A frozen Mrs. Smith's pie is always a good easy dessert.

Brownie mix to whip up brownies and vanilla ice cream to put on top!

Fresh fruits are always a good healthy quick snack too!

Chex mix is a good snack food too.

Shrimp cocktail - It's so easy and you can usually get a bag of frozen shrimp for 6-8 bucks. Oh and if you have some martini glasses you can fill each glass with cocktail sauce and put shrimp around the edges and just refrigerate until they get there. Looks neat but not much work.

A favorite easy dip is - cream cheese and salsa mixed (1/2 stick cream cheese and about 1 to 1 1/2 cup salsa and mix it with the hand mixer.) Use it as a dip with tostitos, it is good but easy.

Easy Dip - 16 oz's of sour cream, 1 package of Fiesta Ranch Dip (dry dressing mixes section). 1/2 can of diced green chille's (in the mexican food section), 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or more if you are like me, LOL) You just mix it all together and serve with tortilla chips. YUMMY!

Fruit salad Recipe - cut up strawberries, purple seedless grapes, blueberries, and pineapple. Mixed in a big bowl and set out some sweet dip with it (the kind you buy near the fresh fruit in the grocery store).
